SME Cyber Security Support Program

Enhancing Cybersecurity

In-Sec-M is collaborating with the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with better cybersecurity practices to reduce the impact of cyberattacks and to enable these enterprises to be more competitive on national and international markets. Through this collaborative program, NRC IRAP clients can access a personalized support system in the form of consulting services which target, among other things, the following areas:

  • Protection of IT infrastructure or services against cyberattacks
  • Compliance with information security or data privacy laws, regulations, or standards
  • Development of new cybersecurity solutions and cybersecure architecture

Why is cybersecurity important?

  • Canadian businesses are noticing an increase in cyberattacks year after year.
  • The financial and reputational costs of a security breach are enormous and can put a business at risk.
  • Effective cybersecurity measures provide a competitive advantage to an organization.
  • Adopting sound cybersecurity practices reduces the risk of successful cyberattacks and ensures compliance with regulations and standards.

The program is available to NRC IRAP clients only.
