Trade Mission to Cybertech Europe in Italy

Trade Mission to Cybertech Europe in Italy

In-Sec-M, Canada’s cybersecurity cluster, in collaboration with the Embassy of Canada to Italy in Rome, the Government of Ontario, the Délégation du Québec à Rome and the Government of British Columbia, organizes a trade mission to Rome from October 1 to 6, 2023, at the 6th edition of Cybertech Europe.

Italy hosts this major European cybersecurity event, which has been attracting some of Europe’s top cybersecurity decision-makers for several years now. In May 2022, In-Sec-M representatives visited Rome and Genoa as part of an exploratory mission, taking the pulse of Cybertech Europe, as well as getting closer to Italian multinational Leonardo, the leading provider of cybersecurity solutions and services to the Italian state, among others.

Cybertech Europe complements FIC in that it attracts more English-speaking Europeans than FIC, which is more focused on French-speaking Europe. As a result, English-speaking Canadian companies wishing to penetrate the European market may find themselves more at ease there.

On the agenda:

conferences, round tables, workshops and technological demonstrations;
a trade show and its B2B matchmaking platform;
numerous networking opportunities;
meetings and group visits.

Location : Rome and surroundings, Italy
Dates : October 1 to 6, 2023
Duration : 6 days, including 2 at CT Europe
Part of an event? CyberTech Europe

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: September 15, 2023

Italy’s national cybersecurity offering is clearly insufficient to meet the growing needs of Italian public and private structures, and there is potential here for exporting Canadian solutions. This mission is open to all organizations and companies wishing to expand their activities in Italy, and more widely in Europe.

Objectives

This trade mission aims to boost Canada’s economic ties with Italy and, more broadly, with Europe. It aims to support the development of business relationships between Canadian and European organizations, as well as to promote collaboration in research and innovation.

By positioning Canada as a business and research partner, this mission will also help showcase the cutting-edge expertise of Canadian cybersecurity players and introduce these same executives and representatives to some of the Canadian companies with the greatest export potential in Italy and the rest of Europe, either through direct sales, through distributors or by establishing strategic partnerships with local companies.
