Open to all, the Inno-V 2020 event aims to rally the community to find innovative and technological solutions for a post COVID-19 environment. In order to overcome the challenges of the current pandemic situation and its new realities (teleworking, gradual return to the workplace, etc.), 8 teams will be put together and given 7 hours to come up with a technological solution to a specific problem in the field of healthcare or education. Each group will be joined by a cybersecurity specialist, to help them familiarize themselves with this topic and integrate it into their project from the start. In addition to promoting the importance of cybersecurity and sharing their field expertise, the specialists will also be able to use the event to network and collaborate with other experts.
Each team will consist of 6 participants grouped according to their field of interest (healthcare or education). The team’s goal will be to present an innovative concept to the judges, other teams and members of the public in 3 minutes, and then answer a few questions from the audience (7 min). The two winning teams—one per field—will win the award of best conceptual project and will then have the chance to take that project from the validation stage to the incubation phase.
