Digital week 2020: Launch of the Quebec Consortium for Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity (CQTNC) project

As part of Digital Week 2020, In-Sec-M, in partnership with the Consulate General of France in Quebec City, presented the panel: Cybersecurity: Spearheading digital transformation strategies?

This panel was the opportunity to discuss the role of cybersecurity in the digital transformation strategies of organizations and territories at different scales. From the outset, at the national level by comparing the Canadian cybersecurity ecosystem to that of France, then at the regional level by discussing with the mayor of the City of Gatineau as well as with the VP innovation of the GRAND EST REGION.

In addition, this panel represented the launch of the official communication of the Quebec Consortium for Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity (CQTNC) project. Created by BECOMING ELSEWHERE Entrepreneurs (ALSAGO Canada), the CQTNC aims to meet the growing demand from industrial groups or SMEs in the digital shift, and cybersecurity in the 6 main cities: Metz, Mulhouse, Nancy, Reims, Strasbourg and Troyes.

Made up of Founding Members, Leaders in the field such as DRAKKAR DIGITAL, EDILEX (THERRIEN-COUTURE Group), PM SCADA Cyberdéfense, and MANTLE Technology, the CQTNC aims to:

Provide the GRAND EST REGION with an Economic Development capacity to transform large companies, and create an international level of competence for the professions of the future.
Provide Canadian IT companies with the opportunity to develop in Europe in the long term, and to participate in the creation of a high-level skills center capable of delivering projects in France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany.

The signing of the official CQTNC protocol is scheduled for December 8, 2020, as well as the creation from early January 2021 in Strasbourg of the Consortium in the form of a GIE + 4 subsidiaries.
