A non-profit organization created in 2017, In-Sec-M’s mission is to mobilize the various key players in the ecosystem to support the innovation, growth and outreach capabilities of Canada’s cybersecurity industry, nationally and internationally.
Our goal: a competitive and internationally recognized Canadian cybersecurity industry.
Cyber security and its more than troubling counterpart, cyberthreats, have become over the past few years unavoidable subject that has imposed itself spheres of the state and the economy to the innermost recesses of our private life.
There is hardly a day without an umpteenth cyber security incident headlines and that the cyber-resilience of our institutions is in question. A plethora of statistics shows that cyberattacks are increasing every day, more dangerous and costly for our entire system, preservation from a democratic space to our ability to provide essential services to our fellow citizens, through the protection of the know-how of our industries. In short, the cyberthreats we face are not to be taken lightly.
However, if all this is indeed and sadly true, cyber security is also a great vector of development and a real opportunity to create a dynamic ecosystem and very lucrative jobs generator across the country. It is to this vision of things that In-Sec-M is dedicated.
In-Sec-M is an initiative to ensure that Canada’s cyber security remains responsive, competitive and able to offer the best solutions possible, here and on the international scene.
