A first mission to develop the cybersecurity ecosystem in Quebec
In-Sec-M, in collaboration with the Quebec Ministry of Economy and Innovation and the General Delegation of Paris in Quebec, organized a first Quebec mission devoted exclusively to cybersecurity earlier in January.
Thus, more than twenty representatives of the Quebec cybersecurity ecosystem were able to meet, first in Paris and then at the Lille International Cybersecurity Forum, also in France, a whole panoply of experts and representatives. of the European cybersecurity ecosystem.
Very tangible avenues for collaboration between organizations, but also between ecosystems, have been identified and, already, In-Sec-M will be pleased to receive this spring a delegation of French experts from government and industry to to present to them what Quebec expertise can bring them to respond to certain very specific issues, particularly with regard to securing the Paris Olympics in 2024.
“It is essential for In-Sec-M to position the expertise of its members on the major international markets, just as it is essential for In-Sec-M to meet its European counterparts and to exchange on best practices, on their ways of doing things and their desire and their will to create links between ecosystems, “explained Nicolas Duguay, director of business development at In-Sec-M, about the impact that this mission will most certainly have on the Quebec cybersecurity community.
Thus, in just four days, the participants in the mission were able to meet and exchange, in Paris and Lille, with representatives of more than thirty of the most important French (and Luxembourgish) players in cybersecurity, to participate in two cocktails networking officials, at a lunch-conference, visit the incredible talent incubator that is Station F and multiply the meetings by visiting the FIC… In short, a whole program for this first Quebec mission dedicated to cybersecurity!
